Centrally located directly in between three of Merida’s most visited squares, Parque San Juan, La Ermita, and San Sebastian, this house could not be better situated to experience what makes this city special. La Ermita is a quieter neighborhood with some cobblestone roads and the square was originally the beginning of the royal road to Campeche. The church, Our Lady of Good Travel or Santa Isabel, dates from 1748. The zone comes alive each year around the Day of the Dead, which makes it the perfect place for experiencing this holiday.

Casa Almita is newly constructed and includes 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, as well as an incredibly spacious backyard area and pool. The house is equipped with all the modern conveniences and has a beautiful and open flow throughout the property. The comfortable living room flows into the dining area and modern kitchen. Skylights brighten the space by letting natural light into the living and dining rooms. Two of the bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other configured with two twins, are adjacent to the dining area and both include their own en-suite bathroom supplied with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need if you want to cook. Purified water is provided, as well as coffee. The refrigerator has ice made from purified water as well, so no need to worry. We provide you with basic kitchen equipment and appliances including a toaster and coffee machine so that you can fuel up with a satisfying breakfast to start your day. Coffee, creamer and sugar is provided — no need to run to the nearest mini-mart for these basics.

Both the kitchen and second bedroom face the beautiful pool area and partly-shaded patio area. In addition to the patio, you can enjoy the sundeck and soak up some rays in this warm tropical heat. Outside you’ll also find another full bathroom as well as an equipment room with a washer/dryer unit. Just past the pool, there is private casita with its own en-suite bathroom tucked away from the rest of the house. With plenty of space to sleep 6 people comfortably, it is the perfect home to bring the whole family and enjoy everything this city has to offer.
